I saw someone else doing this which is cool (so credit to them) but I’m just gonna do it all in one post with my opinion.

Also this should go without saying but, SPOILER WARNING.

10: Marlon’s Confession

Easily one of the sadder moments in the game. I genuinely felt bad for the guy. All he wanted was honor...and to get laid with Sasha. Sadly, he got neither of those. He wanted to kill the orca but didn’t realize what the cost was, and killed the captain. He basically had to live the rest of his life in guilt because of something he did, and although what he thinks is right (That a life was taken because of his stupidity) I do feel bad for him.

9: Mia’s Death/Maya’s Reaction

Honestly I thought Mia’s death was kind of funny at first (Seriously Capcom, why did you spend so much time on her breast animations? Jesus Christ.) but I feel more bad for Maya if anything. She basically had to look at her sister’s corpse knowing that she might be framed. I could somewhat feel for her.

8: Edgeworth’s Backstory

I feel really bad for Edgeworth. Both of his dad’s are dead, (You could say he has....daddy issues! 🥁) and he basically lied to himself for 15 years. He loved the person who raised him only to learn that they murdered his father, and then would accuse him later on. (Bad grammar, my bad.)

7. Pierce Nichody’s Confession

Although Pierce is somewhat evil, I felt for him. As soon as I saw his sister’s photo I recognized the watch and knew he had a connection with her but hearing his backstory made me feel bad. All he wanted was vengeance, and he had planned for vengeance for years only for it to ultimately fail

6: Acro’s Confession

I fucking hated Turnabout Big Top but I feel bad for Acro. I’m leaving it at that.

5. Ini’s Confession

Out of all the murders in Phoenix Wright, Ini’s mindset is 11% reasonable which is actually good. She just wanted vengeance on Turner who probably deserved it. Turner’s actions resulted in the death of Ini’s sister which must really hurt in the inside. And the fact that Turned still tried to bullshit his way out of it makes it even sadder and worst.

Honorable Mention: Trucy loses her panties

Very sad moment, almost cried.

4: Phoenix loses his job

Replaying Succession was sad and annoying at the same time. I felt annoyed at Capcom for even doing this. Literally, seven years this man didn’t have his job. SEVEN. FUCKING. YEARS.

3: Apollo loses all of his dads

I guess you could say.....Apollo has daddy issues 🥁. (Sorry.) I feel bad for Apollo, he lost all of his dads. What a tragic story.

2: Apollo loses Clay

IMO seeing Apollo’s reaction to Clay’s death was so sad. They were best friends and the fact that they had to do Clay like that is so heartbreaking. Especially with the flashbacks.

1: That one DD incident I forgot the name of in Turnabout for Tomorrow.

Everything about this incident is just sad.

-Athena’s mom dies.

-Athena tries to “fix” her mom.

-Simon gets accused even though Athena vouched for him.

-It put the Cosmos center in debt.

-Solomon gets traumatized.

-The news romanticizes being stuck in space.

DD is truly my favorite game. The twists, trials, and characters. Well that’s my opinion anyways.
