"A Farcical Comedy - Boisterous Folk" is a music track originating in The Great Ace Attorney: Adventures that is used as a generic character theme for some of the more eccentric characters whom Ryunosuke Naruhodo meets.
It first plays for Roly and Patricia Beate in The Adventure of the Clouded Kokoro as their character theme. It later plays whenever Pop Windibank threatens himself with a gun along with Juror 3 and Juror 5 quarrelling over the practicability of a stereoscope in The Adventure of the Unspeakable Story. It is also used in "In the Defendants' Antechamber" during Iyesa Nosa and Kyurio Korekuta's argument about the koban coin post-trial.
It returns in The Great Ace Attorney 2: Resolve when reuniting with Tobias Gregson and Gina Lestrade and as a theme for Gotts in The Return of the Great Departed Soul. It later becomes a theme for Fabien de Rousseau and Peppino de Rossi in Twisted Karma and His Last Bow.
It is part of the recurring "Folk" tracks used throughout the Ace Attorney series. A majority of the instances involves a pair of characters.
