An apron was a piece of evidence in Phoenix Wright's investigation into the murder of Glen Elg.

The apron belonged to Maggey Byrde, who accidentally spilled some coffee and ketchup on it. She wore it on the day Elg was killed. During her retrial for Elg's murder, Godot submitted it as evidence, explaining that the potassium cyanide bottle had been found inside its pocket. The judge asked him to explain what he thought was a bloodstain on the apron, shocking Godot, who had failed to notice it. Dick Gumshoe reassured the court that it was actually a ketchup stain, and the court moved on, paying no further attention to Godot's strange behavior; it was later revealed he's unable to see red on a white background, and thus wasn't able to see the ketchup. Wright later used the apron to prove that Victor Kudo had not paid full attention to the waitress's appearance, as he would have noticed the huge stains on the apron.
