Edgeworth received the report from Karin Jenson, not knowing that she had forged it because the true culprit wanted her to. It was later used to show Justine Courtney that the letter allegedly sent from Kay Faraday to Jill Crane had been planted after the murder, as it was in the left breast pocket where she had been stabbed, but it had no holes. He later showed the report to Lotta Hart, who then claimed that the victim was the conductor of the auction. It was then used to prove that the audio recorded on the Moozilla doll was from Crane's murder. It was also then proven that the autopsy report had been falsified by Jenson. Afterwards, it was revised after the discovery that the wounds happened in the opposite order.
