A portfolio of blood samples was evidence in the trial of Gina Lestrade for the murder of Pop Windibank. It was a listing of samples of blood found throughout the crime scene that were identified via a chemical reagent used by Iris Wilson.

  • A running gag throughout the trial is Barok van Zieks's refusal to accept the blood samples as legitimate evidence and calling Herlock Sholmes, the developer of the reagent, as a "second-rate" detective.
