A bloody button was a piece of evidence in Miles Edgeworth's investigation into Di-Jun Wang's murder.
Di-Jun Wang's supposed kidnapping[]
The button was used by a child as part of a snowman. However, upon being bludgeoned in the back of the head by an unknown assailant, Alf Aldown attempted to grab it to stop his fall, but ended up holding onto it tightly instead.
The Impostor's murder[]
12 years later, Edgeworth reopened the SS-5 incident after Di-Jun Wang's body double was killed. During a reinvestigation using Little Thief, he added the button to his organizer after examining Aldown's hand. He later deduced that it came from a snowman by the gate.
