A bomb transport case was a piece of evidence in the trial of Juniper Woods for the bombing of Courtroom No. 4 and the murder of Candice Arme. Originally used to transport the HH-3000 bomb, Ted Tonate went on to use it to hide both Candice Arme's corpse and a message she had written in her own blood to implicate Tonate as her murderer.

Courtroom Bombing[]

The case was used to transport a bomb known as the HH-3000, that was found in Boarding Lounge 1 of the Space Center entrance and disarmed by Candice Arme. When Ted Tonate killed her, he moved the case over the message she wrote with her blood and her corpse in the case, knowing that people would be too scared to go near something holding a bomb.

During the trial of Solomon Starbuck, Simon Blackquill joked that the case was the Judge's coffin. He later explained how it was used to transport the bomb, but much later in the trial someone reactivated it to destroy some other evidence. Tonate noticed and managed to evacuate everyone, but he also took advantage of it by placing Arme's corpse in Courtroom No. 4 to make it look like she died in the explosion so Juniper Woods could be framed.

Assault of Justice[]

The next day, Apollo Justice was in the courtroom looking for Woods' Bum Rap Rhiny. Tonate was afraid he'll look inside the bomb transport case. So he hit Justice with a rock, moved the case and edited Arme's message with Justice's blood to make "WOODS". This gave additional charges to Woods.

However, during the trial the day after, Phoenix Wright noticed that the case went over the bandages that Justice received after the explosion, making Arme the true writer. He almost noticed the writing going off into a crack, revealing the actual time of Arme's death and that the only place she could've been hidden before the explosion was in the transport case. Tonate decided to prevent them from opening it by threatening everyone with a fake bomb, saying it was the HH-3000. Although Gaspen Payne and the audience fled, the judge and defense stayed, Wright knew it was a fake because there was a crack in the real one before it exploded. The judge gives him permission to check the case despite Tonate begging him not to, and he found a stain with Arme's blood, sealing Tonate's fate.
