Casper Sly, also known as G.I. Sly (with the initials standing for "ghost-like and inconsolable"), was a private investigator who was murdered during his investigation into a cult known as the Great Tengu Society.

At some point before his murder, Sly visited the Society in attempt to interrogate Princess Tengu. However, Power Tengu shooed him away and ended up shoving Sly to the ground. The fall injured Sly's right leg, which required a cast.

- His English nickname of "G.I." comes from "P.I.", which is an abbreviation used for "private investigator".
