Culprits

A culprit is the primary party responsible for an event that is the subject of the central mystery of a case, as defined in Category:Cases. Due to the narrative structure of Ace Attorney games, culprits tend to serve as the primary antagonists of each Ace Attorney game episode, though the occasional instance exists of game episodes involving multiple cases with different culprits. Culprits may be aided by accomplices, which have a separate category. Assassins count as accomplices, with their clients being considered the culprits.
