The coroner's findings was a piece of evidence in Miles Edgeworth's investigation into Rosie Ringer's murder.

Edgeworth received the report from Florence Niedler, not knowing that she had forged it, switching up which wounds were inflicted post-mortem, because the true culprit had coerced her to. It was later used to show Verity Gavèlle that the letter allegedly sent from Kay Faraday to Rosie Ringer had been planted after the murder, as it was in the left breast pocket where she had been stabbed, but it had no holes. He later showed the report to Lotta Hart, who then claimed that the victim was the ringleader of the auction. It was then used to prove that the audio recorded on the Taurusaurus Plushie was from Ringer's murder. It was also then proven that the autopsy report had been falsified by Niedler. Afterwards, it was revised after the discovery that the wounds happened in the opposite order.
