A crime scene photograph was evidence in the trial of Rei Membami for the murder of Jezaille Brett. It showed the victim in the state she was in when discovered, including where she was stabbed.

The photo was taken by the police after arriving at the crime scene. During Membami's subsequent trial, Prosecutor Taketsuchi Auchi submitted the photo during his opening statement. "Defense attorney" "Ryutaro Naruhodo" would later use the photo as part of "his" argument that the victim could have been stabbed outside of the hut.
