The correct title of this page is Crime Scene Photograph #2. The substitution of "#" is due to technical restrictions.

A crime scene photograph was evidence in the trial of Soseki Natsume for the stabbing of Olive Green. It was presented by Prosecutor Barok van Zieks after another photograph showing the jackknife in her back raised questions about how many books had been found at the scene. It showed the victim's hand, which held a burnt copy of The Lion's Pride. It was initially assumed that Green owned the book, which was why she was holding it, but Natsume's lawyer, Ryunosuke Naruhodo, questioned why Green would be holding a book that had been burnt to the point of being unreadable, especially when she had a bag to carry it in. He eventually showed that the book had actually fallen from a window on the top floor of the Garrideb house, and Green had picked it up before being struck when the jackknife also fell from the same window.
