Damian Tenma is the mayor of Tenma Town and father to Jinxie Tenma. He visited Nine-Tails Vale during a festival, but was then accused of murdering the mayor of the village.

He actually was against the merger with his town and Kyuubi's village so while he did show public support for the merger, he took up his secret identity Amazing Nine-Tails to be against the aforementioned merger.

Once Damian Tenma is freed from the warding charm on his temple, Tenma Taro takes over and speaks a different speech noise that sounds like a digital chirp, apart from the low and high pitched beeps of the respectively male and female voices. This voice change occurs when the "tie" opens up into a fan.

• His family name "Tenma" (天馬) consists of the kanji "天" (meaning "sky/heaven/celestial", "god/godly/Deva", or "day"), and "馬" (meaning "horse"). The word "tenma" can refer to twelve guardian goddesses in the Gelug order of Tibetan Buddhism, or the equivalent of Pegasus in Eastern mythology.

• The pronunciation of his Japanese given name "Deemon" is identical to the word "demon". Additionally, the last three characters in the name come from the expression "honekawasujiemon" (骨皮筋右衛門), meaning "reduced to skin and bones".
• Similar to Daryan Crescend , "Damian" reflects his given Japanese name "Deemon" (It is also possible that "Damian" was a spin-off idea of Damon Gant's French name, Damien).
