Notes[]
Artifacts[]
Many of the objects in the study are references to previous episodes in the Ace Attorney series and real-life archaeological artifacts (including some that are the subject of pseudoarchaeology):
Ace Attorney artifacts[]
- Ami Fey's Golden Statue (The Stolen Turnabout & Bridge to the Turnabout)
- The Sacred Urn (Reunion, and Turnabout & The Stolen Turnabout)
- A hanging scroll depicting Misty Fey (Bridge to the Turnabout)
Real-life artifacts[]
- A large statue in the centre of the room resembles the prehistoric Japanese clay figurines known as dogū (more specifically the shakōkidogū)
- Armie Buff identifies it as an "OOPArt" won at an online auction, which Dr. Buff claimed is "an alien weapon that destroyed an entire ancient civilization." This appears to be a nod specifically to the OOPArts in Mega Man Star Force 2.
- Reproductions on the floor of "the Monkey" and "the Condor", two of the numerous Peruvian geoglyphs collectively referred to as the Nazca Lines
- A golden airplane-like object hanging from the ceiling resembling one of the Quimbaya artifacts; more specifically, one of the Quimbaya "Jets"
- A stone object resembling the Rosetta Stone is propped up against the dogū-like statue
- A stone head is on the shelf resembling one of the Olmec colossal heads; more specifically San Lorenzo Colossal Head 1
- A small version of a Moai on the shelf
- A crystal skull on the shelf
- A silver goblet on the shelf that may be intended to be a reference to the Holy Grail
- The "Holy Grail" and crystal skull may be reference to the Indiana Jones films Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade and Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, respectively, with both the titular character of said films and Archie Buff being archaeologists.
