Dzibilchaltunchunchucmil is one of the guards known as "the Vigilantes" who keep watch over Labyrinthia's Bell Tower. A short young lad with a thick Scottish accent, Dzibilchaltunchunchucmil refuses to respond to other people's queries unless they address him by name and becomes very agitated if they mispronounce it.

Personality

Dzibilchaltunchunchucmil is very touchy about his height and people not addressing him by name. Notably, the other Vigilantes have coined the phrase "Dzibilchaltunchunchucmilled" from his name, which is used to refer to someone committing a greatly stupid mistake. Examples of times that the phrase has been used to refer to something include: Dzibilchaltunchunchucmil locking himself and his fellow Vigilantes inside the Bell Tower while in pursuit of "Bezella", and later when Espella Cantabella locked herself inside the Bell Tower.

Name

• In the Japanese version, the character's name starts with the Japanese kana "ン" (n). No words in standard Japanese begin in such a way, with the exception of certain foreign loan words.
• "Dzibilchaltunchunchucmil" is a portmanteau of Dzibilchaltun and Chunchucmil - the former sites of two ancient Mayan cities. The name was likely chosen so that Phoenix Wright would be unable to pronounce Dzibilchaltunchunchucmil's name, only for Maya Fey to easily be able to do so. Wright then comments that he is unsurprised that she could pronounce it, as the name sounds Mayan to him - a reference to Fey's given name.
• In the French localization, the character's name is "Elbacnonorpmitsemonnom", which is "mon nom est imprononçable" (my name is unpronounceable) backwards.

• "Dzibilchaltunchunchucmil", with 24 letters, is the second longest English name of any Ace Attorney character to date, with only Inga Karkhuul Haw'kohd Dis'nahm Bi'ahni Lawga Ormo Pohmpus Da'nit Ar'edi Iz Khura'in III beating him.
