Dzibilchaltunchunchucmil
If ye want tae ask me somethin', address me by mah name! Make fin ay me coz Aam a bairn an' Ah'll make ye regret it!

Dzibilchaltunchunchucmil is one of the guards who keep watch over Labyrinthia's Bell Tower who are known as the Vigilantes. A short young lad with a thick Scottish accent, Dzibilchaltunchunchucmil refuses to respond to other people's queries unless they address him by name and becomes very agitated if they mispronounce it.

Trivia

  • "Dzibilchaltunchunchucmil" is a portmanteau of Dzibilchaltun and Chunchucmil - the former sites of two ancient Mayan cities. The name was likely chosen so that Phoenix Wright would be unable to pronounce Dzibilchaltunchunchucmil's name, only for Maya Fey to easily be able to do so. Wright then comments that he is unsurprised that she could pronounce it, as the name sounds Mayan to him - a reference to Fey's given name.
  • The Vigilantes coined an expression based on Dzibilchaltunchunchucmil's name -- "Dzibilchaltunchunchucmilled", meaning to commit a great, possibly life-threatening mistake. The expression is used twice: once during the trial in The Final Witch Trial in reference to Dzibilchaltunchunchucmil locking himself and his fellow Vigilantes inside the Bell Tower while in pursuit of the witch, and again in The First Story in reference to Espella Cantabella locking herself inside the Bell Tower.
  • Dzibilchaltunchunchucmil has the longest name out of any Ace Attorney character, with his name having 24 letters; 2 less than the English alphabet.
  • In the Japanese version, Dzibilchaltunchunchucmil's name starts with the Japanese letter ン (n), which is often considered taboo in the Japanese language.
