Gai Tojiro was the head bodyguard of Teikun Ō and the victim of the Gourd Lake murder.
Assassination attempts

In March 23, 2019, a professional assassin by the name of Shelly de Killer tried to murder the president of Zheng Fa, Teikun Ō. The assassin incapacitated his fellow bodyguard, Manosuke Naitō and Tojiro managed to injure him. However, Shelly de Killer managed to escape. Two days later, during the second assassination attempt that later turned out to be fake, Naitō killed him out of jealousy, hoping that he would get promoted to the head bodyguard position.
Personality
Naitō kills Tojiro.
He was very skilled at his job, to the point that he was able to even injure and thwart Shelly de Killer. Although he was not from Zheng Fa, he was the president's most trusted and most capable bodyguard.
While much of his personality wasn't shown he seemed to be a serious and professional bodyguard. He was also an honest man, as Ō knew that Tojiro would never agree to a false assassination attempt, causing the president to turn to Naitō instead.
Name
- His name is a pun on castle, which is a reference on the chess piece rook.
Development
- His hairstyle is similar to the shape of the 'Rook', referencing his position as the head bodyguard.
