Frame fingermarks were a piece of evidence in Gregory and Miles Edgeworth's respective investigations into the murder of Pierre Hoquet, which occurred during Jeffrey Master's Great Dessert Contest. The fingermarks were found on a chocolate frame in Jeffrey Master's contest room during the IS-7 Incident investigation containing the Angel's Recipe Book, but it could not be determined who they belonged to, as no fingerprints could be found.
Dane Gustavia, who was desperate for a cure to his ageusia and had been betrayed by Isaac Dover, decided to photograph a page from the Angel's Recipe Book containing a "recipe" for a cure for ageusia, leaving the fingermarks on the frame.
Gregory later pointed to the fingermarks as evidence that there were still some doubts left in the investigation.
