- This article is about the hotel opposite the Wright & Co. Law Offices that appeared in Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney. For the larger hotel featured in Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney: Justice For All, see Gatewater Imperial Hotel.
Gatewater Hotel is an expensive businessperson's hotel in Los Angeles. It is opposite the Wright Anything Agency, such that the inside of the Agency can be seen from the windows of some hotel rooms, which allowed April May to witness Mia Fey's murder from her suite.
There is also a "Gatewater Imperial Hotel" near the center of L.A., which was the scene of the murder of Juan Corrida.
Name
The name is a reference to the Watergate complex and scandal.
