Footprints through spilt grape juice were a piece of evidence in Miles Edgeworth's investigation into the murder of Akbey Hicks.
Akbey Hicks's murder[]
- Main article: Turnabout Airlines
On Flight G-390, Cammy Meele killed Hicks and loaded his body and belongings into a suitcase. She then entered the elevator with the suitcase, but just then, the plane entered a period of turbulence. This spilled grape juice in front of the elevator they were on, as well as spilling Hicks's body and belongings out of the suitcase. She then decided to make it seem as though the elevator was the crime scene, and thus left the body and belongings in the elevator. Not knowing about the grape juice, she then left the footprints while exiting the elevator with the nearly-empty suitcase. Edgeworth later deduced that the footprints belonged to the killer as Hicks's shoes were spotless.
