Hertz Hospital is the medical facility where Kay Faraday was treated after her fall at the Bigg Building. The hospital's director is Hilda Hertz, with her granddaughter Florence Niedler working as one of the nurses.
Name[]
- Its Japanese name is "Itami Hospital", with "itami" (痛み) being Japanese for "pain". Additionally, the kanji for the the "hospital" part of the name (伊丹病院, Itami byōin) shares its pronunciation with the term for "cause of a disease" (病因).
- Its English name has a similar meaning with "Hertz" meant to sound like "hurts".
- In the unofficial English fan translation patch for Ace Attorney Investigations 2: Prosecutor's Gambit, the hospital is instead called the "Dye-Young Clinic"; a play on "die young". The name was likely chosen to keep in theme with the name pun in the original Japanese, as well as referring to Otome Itami, who goes by the name "Bonnie Young" in the translation.
