The Holy Mother is the founder of the Kingdom of Khura'in. She is also the patron deity of the Khura'inese faith and as such her face is not depicted on any painting or other artwork of her, aside from the Founder's Orb. She, along with her sister Lady Kee'ra, founded the kingdom in the 7th century CE.

Name

• Her Japanese Name "Shiso-sama" (始祖さま) simply means "the founder".
• Her English Name may come from the Virgin Mary or from the Holy Ghost, as Khura'inism holds many similarities to Christianity.

Development

• The Holy Mother's design appears to be based on Guanyin, an East Asian bodhisattva associated with compassion and is commonly known as the Goddess of Mercy.
