I'm not joking! His life is in danger!
Miles Edgeworth
Wh-What...!? What happened!? Tell me!

"Hotline of Fate" is a music track originating in Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Justice for All. It is used during particularly frantic moments in investigation chapters. The track itself plays several times during Farewell, My Turnabout, with the first instance being when Phoenix Wright learns that Maya Fey has been taken hostage by Shelly de Killer to coerce him into defending Matt Engarde. It later plays during a phone call between Wright and Dick Gumshoe when the latter is pursuing de Killer in an attempt to save Fey while Wright stalls for time during Engarde's trial.

The track reappears near the beginning of the Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Trials and Tribulations episode Bridge to the Turnabout, when Larry Butz calls Miles Edgeworth to tell him that Wright has fallen from Dusky Bridge into Eagle River.

The track is a rearrangement of the first few notes of "Pursuit - Confront the Culprit", the Pursuit theme for Justice for All. "Illegality of Fate" is used in a similar fashion in Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Dual Destinies and Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Spirit of Justice.
