A case file on the IS-7 Incident was a piece of evidence in Miles Edgeworth's investigation into the murder of Artie Frost. It later appeared during the investigations into Rosie Ringer's murder and Di-Jun Wang's murder.

Carmelo Gusto's poisoning

Prior to the poisoning, the files were compiled and a copy given to both Eddie Fender and Manfred von Karma. During the years, Fender added notes of his own to his copy, while von Karma modified his so that Edgeworth would not want to investigate it further.

Later, Edgeworth received the file from Fender. Much later, he used it to prove that Carmelo Gusto could still be arrested for murdering Artie Frost.

Rosie Ringer's murder

Prior to the Committee for Prosecutorial Excellence hearing, Verity Gavèlle fetched this copy of the documents for the hearing, which she meant to use against Excelsius Winner.

Di-Jun Wang's murder

Edgeworth added the file to his organizer again as evidence concerning Winner. He later used it to show the significance behind the date Bodhidharma Kanis first met the mastermind.

Location: Samson Tangaroa's mansion, Tangaroa's Room Date: December 24th, 18 years ago. Murder Weapon: Rock salt lamp Prosecutor: Manfred von Karma Defense Attorney: Gregory Edgeworth NOTES: Statute of limitations expired 3 years ago on December 24th Body of the victim, Artie Frost, was found hidden in a\nchocolate chest made by the suspect, Samson Tangaroa. Victim died from blood loss after being struck on the head with a rock salt lamp. Suspect was found guilty of the crime as its main perpetrator and subsequently imprisoned.

Suspect Data

Samson Tangaroa (Age: 39) Organizer of confectionery contest. Victim's body was found inside one of his creations, leading to his arrest. While in detention, Tangaroa discovered that he had a taste disorder, which was subsequently cured via medication. Verdict: Convicted as an accomplice based on his confession.

Victim Data

Artie Frost (Age: 38) Also known as Paul Halique, under which name he was a renowned sculptor in France. Contestant in the confectionery contest. Body was discovered in Tangaroa's room. Cause of death was blood loss following a blow to the head. No detailed autopsy report due to the body going missing?
