Iris Wilson's hare charm was evidence in the trial of Barok van Zieks for the murder of Tobias Gregson. It was a charm resembling a leporid Herlock Sholmes that Ryunosuke Naruhodo was to pull by the ears in the event that he was ever backed into a corner in said trial.

The charm first came into play when the court was attempting to subpoena Seishiro Jigoku to hear his testimony. With little hope of finding him in time, Ryunosuke Naruhodo and Susato Mikotoba used the charm to call Herlock Sholmes and Yujin Mikotoba for assistance. Thanks to the quick efforts of the latter team, Jigoku was found aboard the SS Grouse, and forced onto the stand the following day.
On said following day, when Mael Stronghart attempted to brush off his crimes as simply his way of protecting London from criminal masterminds and with the judiciary siding with him, Naruhodo again used the charm to allow Sholmes to appear as a holographic image. He and Iris Wilson then revealed that Stronghart was to have his position of Lord Chief Justice stripped by Queen Victoria, thus ending his schemes for good.
