The murder of SparkleStar[]
- Main article: Turnabout Showtime
At Sparkle Land, Wright and Maya Fey met Henson, along with the other members of the SparkleStar Show staff, and was immediately infatuated with her due to her resemblance to an ex-girlfriend of his. Although the show started like normal, halfway through the show SparkleStar staggered onto the stage and collapsed into a pool of blood. After removing Flip Chambers from the SparkleStar costume, it turned out that he had been murdered.
Name[]
- English - Julie Henson:
- "Julie" was chosen as her English given name due to it sounding like "Juri", her name in the original Japanese version of the manga.[1]
- Her family name, "Henson", is a reference to the American puppeteer, artist, cartoonist, inventor, screenwriter, actor, film director, and producer Jim Henson, famous for his creation of the Muppets. The name was chosen because she is "a human among monsters", like the kind of scenario expected from Sesame Street or The Muppet Show.[1]
