An unnamed typewritist/telegraph technician was Juror 4 in the trial of Cosney Megundal for the murder of Mortar Milverton, for which she brought along her typewriter. Two months later, she was once again called as a juror in the trial of Gina Lestrade for the murder of Hatch Windibank, although this time appearing in court with telegraph equipment, rather than the typewriter she had before.

The typewritist was called as a juror in the trial of Cosney Megundal for the murder of Mortar Milverton. She was the fourth juror to vote Megundal guilty during the trial but changed her mind after learning that he had tried to cover for Gina Lestrade, only to once again vote guilty as the trial progressed.
Lestrade's trial

Two months after her previous court appearance, the typewritist was once again called as a juror, this time in the trial of Gina Lestrade for the murder of Hatch Windibank. Rather than her typewriter, this time she instead brought telegraph equipment from her job in the telegram office. When the subject of telegrams came up during the course of the trial, she and Iris Watson explained them to defense attorney Ryūnosuke Naruhodō. Although impressed by how knowledgeable Watson was regarding the technology, she stated that it would soon be possible to communicate wirelessly through the air, as opposed to the undersea cables used for telegraphs.
It was eventually revealed she was a colleague of Robert Crogley at the same telegram office and that she was a skilled technician. Her expertise in telegraph technology proved invaluable in solving the case, although she noted that the Morse code used to store the information Crogley stole from the government was unlike code she had heard before.
