A drawing by Larry Butz was a piece of evidence in Phoenix Wright's investigation into the murder of Dumas Gloomsbury. It depicts something he believed was a pterodactyl flying outside the Flying Chapel.
In reality, it was a piece of a broken map sign which was hurled around during the raging storm outside. The shape of the piece and the map portion printed on it bore some resemblance to a pterodactyl. Since the piece was recovered and taped onto the map sign the following morning, Phoenix was able to prove that the Flying Chapel was docked during the night of the murder which would explain how Sorin Sprocket was able to shimmy across the exterior to get to the balcony without getting killed by the turbines along the path, since they're off when stationary.
