After the first trial day, Wright sifted through May's testimony, but the only useful information was that Fey had dodged an attack before running to the right and being struck. Wright would later present this information in the second trial day to contradict Redd White's statement regarding the victim running to the left. It would later be revealed that both of their statements were correct, as White had killed Mia and from his perspective, she would have been running to his left.
