The MiB are three unnamed Interpol agents who formerly worked under Shi-Long Lang and Shih-na, distinguishable by the other troopers by their black suits and sunglasses. Only one was readily seen during Lang's mass investigations. However, after Lang's team was disbanded, some of his former subordinates kept tabs on their former superior. During the investigation into the murder of "Di-Jun Wang", three MiB approached Lang and offered to help him launch a full reinvestigation of the SS-5 Incident.

"MiB" stands for "Man in Black", a reference to both his clothing and the Men in Black of popular culture and U.F.O. conspiracy theories.
- In Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth, his name in the text box is "MiB". In Ace Attorney Investigations 2: Prosecutor's Gambit, his name in the textbox is instead "Man in Black".
