Monster Hunter Explore (モンスターハンター エクスプロア Monsutāhantā Ekusupuroa; lit. Monster Hunter Explorer) is an action role-playing game developed by Capcom for iOS and Android as a mobile spin-off for the Monster Hunter series. Initially released in Japan on Sep. 29, 2015, it was then released in Canada on Apr. 19, 2016 for an English soft launch, however the game was shut down in Canada just three months later on July 31, and never received a worldwide release.[1] The game was shut down on Nov. 27, 2020.[2]
Ace Attorney crossover collaboration[]
A crossover collaboration with the Ace Attorney series was launched on Jan. 25 and ended on Jan. 31, 2017. During the event, Phoenix Wright, Maya Fey, Miles Edgeworth, and Franziska von Karma were all included as playable characters and the Blue Badger and Wright's pointer finger appeared as weapons. The respective clothes and hair of the Ace Attorney characters were made available as costumes and hairstyles.[3]
