A moon rock earring was a piece of evidence in Phoenix Wright's investigation into the murders of Clay Terran and Metis Cykes. Originally a necklace,[1] it was made from a part of the moon rock in the research by Metis, who gave it to her daughter Athena. It was the only thing she left for her daughter other than Widget. She wears it at all times, moving it while thinking.
The earring was used to prove that a rock fragment found in the ruins of Courtroom No. 4 is the same one that was smeared the phantom's blood when the young Athena stabbed him with a utility knife during the murder of Metis, proving his identity as the true culprit of UR-1 Incident and the fact that he has been impersonating the long dead Bobby Fulbright.
