"Oliver Deacon's" pendant was a piece of evidence in Miles Edgeworth's investigation into the murder of Deacon, also known as Colin Devorae. It is a pendant in the shape of a horse, and it combines with Ms. Paups's Pendant, which is in the shape of a pair of wings, to form a Pegasus. It is proof that Colin Devorae is Lauren Paups's father.
Origins[]
- Main article: KG-8 Incident
After the KG-8 Incident, Devorae was arrested on charges of smuggling. Before being sent to prison, he broke the pendant into two halves and wrote his name on the horse half and Paups's name on the wings. He then gave the wings to Paups.
Devorae later escaped from Penn E. Dent Prison and returned to the Amano household, where Ernest Amano gave him the role of his son Lance's tutor, "Oliver Deacon". Lance eventually discovered Deacon's true identity, however, using the pendant, and blackmailed him into helping him with a fake kidnapping plan. However, he didn't tell Paups anything about Deacon's true identity.

Edgeworth found the pendant on Deacon's body. It and Ms. Paups's pendant were used to prove that Paups and Deacon were father and daughter.

Since Lance's crime had also exposed his father's own criminal dealings, Jacques Portsman, a corrupt prosecutor with ties with the Cohdopian smuggling ring Amano was working for, was tasked by the organization to defend the businessman from the charges, and as such, later asked his unwitting partner, Buddy Faith, to fetch for him from the Criminal Affairs Department the pendant, alongside the gun used to take Deacon's life, and a video tape, in order to covertly make these pieces of evidence disappear and clear Amano from his crimes.
