"Mr. Frost's Room was a piece of evidence in Gregory Edgeworth's investigation into Frost's murder. It consisted of one photo, later two, of the room that Frost used during Samson Tangaroa's Great Dessert Contest at his mansion.

Stellar sculptures[]

Main article: IS-7 Incident

Frost's entry for the finals of the competition was a set of sherbet sculptures based on the 12 zodiac constellations, but only half were completed: Gemini, Pisces, Taurus, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Aries.[citation needed] The sculptures had to be kept in special refrigerated display cases. The sherbet was actually made by Carmelo Gusto.

During the contest, Judy Bound discovered Frost's body in the room containing Tangaroa's entry. Seeing the "PH" seal on his ring, she immediately realized that he was the true identity of "Paul Halique", an elusive "French" sculptor whom she admired. Gusto later hid the body in the Gemini sculpture using a fluorescent cloth and light device, and shaved a rock salt lamp's salt onto the lyre to remove his blood from it. In order to preserve Halique's final artworks, Bound moved the completed sculptures to a freezer, melting the unfinished ones to make it look like they had all melted by accidentally unplugging the refrigeration cases. The scene was soon discovered as Gregory Edgeworth, a lawyer who had taken on Tangaroa's case, entered the room with Prosecutor Manfred von Karma, Detective Tyrell Badd, Eddie Fender, and Delicia Scone to investigate the salty lyre strings that Scone had admitted to eating.

Von Karma immediately kicked Edgeworth and Fender out, leaving them to question Bound. She gave them a photo of Frost's contest entry, taken before the incident, and claimed that she must have tripped over the refrigerator wires as she was taking pictures, causing all of the sculptures to melt. Von Karma soon kicked out Badd as well, who indignantly decided to cooperate with the defense and gave him a photo of the room in its current state.
