Akbey Hicks's travel wallet was a piece of evidence in Miles Edgeworth's investigation into Hicks's murder.

Akbey Hicks's murder[edit | edit source]

Main article: Turnabout Airlines

After Akbey Hicks's murder, flight attendant and killer Cammy Meele had hidden the corpse and his belongings within a suitcase. However, the plane hit a patch of turbulence, scattering the corpse and his belongings all over the elevator. Meele then decided to leave the scene as it was to make a fake crime scene, and in order to prevent her arrest, she left it on a passenger who had fainted in the lounge.

However, the passenger, Miles Edgeworth, found the wallet and the crime scene shortly after. As flight attendant Rhoda Teneiro saw him in front of the scene with the wallet (which she thought was the murder weapon) in his hand, he became the prime suspect. Edgeworth later used it to point out that he had, in fact, been holding the wallet when they had found the body. He also pointed out that the stain on the wallet was, in fact, grape juice and not blood. Directly afterwards, it helped identify the victim as Akbey Hicks.
