The head of Mr. Monkey, the Global Studios mascot, was a piece of evidence in Phoenix Wright's investigation into the murder of Jack Hammer.

Hammer's murder[]

Main article: Turnabout Samurai

Mr. Monkey's head blocked the path after it fell at 2:15 p.m due to a storm and it was started to be moved after 3:00 p.m..

Wright added Mr. Monkey's head to the court record after Dee Vasquez pointed it out and explained how it validated her and Sal Manella's alibi.

After Manella's testimony, Edgeworth made Wright admit that Mr. Monkey's head blocked the path and thus the people there could not have killed Jack Hammer. However, after Cody Hackins's testimony it was revealed that the man in the Steel Samurai suit was Jack Hammer and he went to Studio Two, which disproved Dee Vazquez's alibi.

In reality, Jack Hammer was going to kill Dee Vazquez, but she killed him in self-defense. Vazquez and Manella used the van to transport his body to Studio One after the path was unblocked.

Black market auction[]

The head later made a reappearance during Miles Edgeworth's investigation of Jill Crane's murder as another item being sold in the black market auction on the 51st floor of the Grand Tower. Notably, it had a sticker saying "SOLD" on it.
