A photo taken by Lotta Hart was a piece of evidence in Miles Edgeworth's investigation into the murder of Rosie Ringer. It reappeared as evidence in Edgeworth's investigation in the murder of "Di-Jun Wang".
Rosie Ringer's murder[]
While hiding in the hidden storeroom of Bigg Building in order to get information about the black market auctions held in the skyscraper, Hart heard a commotion from behind the Alif Red statue. As soon as it died down, she peeked out and took a photo of a person in a red raincoat, believing it to someone who had just killed another person. In the process, an eye from a Lion Hot Air Balloon was also caught in the background of the picture.
Edgeworth received the photo from Hart during his investigation into Ringer's death. He later used it to show Verity Gavèlle that the murder had taken place in the storeroom. It was eventually revealed during the investigation that Hart had actually caught a picture of the dying victim in a red raincoat.
"Di-Jun Wang's" murder[]
The photo later reappeared during the investigation into "Di-Jun Wang's" murder, where Hart attempted to used it to prove that the fictional movie monster, Taurusaurus, was real, due to the eye that appeared behind the blinds in the upper-left corner of the picture. Edgeworth eventually revealed that the eye was, in fact, part of the lion balloon that had brought Kay Faraday to the Bigg Building's rooftop. This eventually allowed Edgeworth to deduce the identity of the mastermind behind recent cases.
