A pendant belonging to Lauren Paups was a piece of evidence in Miles Edgeworth's investigation into the murder of Oliver Deacon, also known as Colin Devorae. It is a pendant in the shape of a pair of wings, and it combines with Mr. Deacon's Pendant, which is in the shape of a horse, to form Pegasus. It is proof that Lauren Paups is Devorae's daughter.

Origins[]

Main article: KG-8 Incident

After the KG-8 Incident, Devorae was arrested on charges of smuggling. Before being sent to prison, he broke the pendant into two halves and wrote his name on the horse half and Paups's name on the wings. He then gave the wings to Paups.

Later, Devorae escaped from Penn E. Dent Prison and went back to the Amano household, where Ernest Amano gave him the role his son Lance's tutor, "Oliver Deacon". Lance eventually discovered Deacon's true identity, however, using the pendant, and blackmailed him into helping him with a fake kidnapping plan. However, he didn't tell Paups anything about Deacon's true identity.

Lance Amano's kidnapping and Devorae's murder[]

Edgeworth found the pendant in a Blue Badger costume. Shi-Long Lang then used it to accuse Lauren Paups of the murder, reasoning that Devorae had attacked her. However, Edgeworth figured out the connection between it and Colin Devorae's pendant, and was able to argue that Lang's hypothesis was wrong because Devorae would not attack his own daughter.
