Testimony given by Delicia Scone was a piece of evidence in Gregory Edgeworth's investigation into the murder of Artie Frost on the day of the finals of Samson Tangaroa's Great Dessert Contest.
Frost's murder[]

On the afternoon of the finals, during a tea party, Scone left early and went around sampling various parts of the other contestants' desserts.
Later, she told Edgeworth about what she did in Frost's room. Edgeworth later used this testimony to prove that Carmelo Gusto and Frost had cooperated during the finals. However, this claim would later turn out to be false, as in fact, Gusto had prepared the sherbet in advance.
