This article is about the piece of evidence in Turnabout Target. For similarly-named evidence, see Revolver (disambiguation). For similar firearms used as evidence, see Pistol (disambiguation).

Horace Knightley's revolver was a piece of evidence in Miles Edgeworth's investigation into the murder of Ethan Rooke.

Attempt on Huang's life[]

Main article: Turnabout Target

Similarly to the Security Plans, the revolver was planted in a trashcan to be found by investigators.

As expected, Miles Edgeworth found the revolver during his investigation. He later handed it, along with the other evidence, to Knightley temporarily, as Huang meant for the Zheng Fa police to take over the investigation. While Edgeworth negotiated with Huang, Knightley switched the revolver and bullets to fool Edgeworth and gave his gun to Edgeworth instead after investigative authority was returned to him. Edgeworth later proved that the original gun had been used to create the illusion of the assassin having been in the audience. He then used it to prove that if Nicole Swift had indeed killed Rooke, the number of gunshots wouldn't match up. He then discovered the switch after a forensic examination proved that the bullet that killed Rooke had come from the gun. He then used that fact to prove that the gun that had killed Rooke had not been the one in the audience area. He later used it to prove that Knightley had switched the guns, because since Knightley had fired three shots and the original gun had fired two, he would have had to reload the bullets. This would mean that he would have left fingerprints on the bullets, which was where his fingerprints were not supposed to be. This allowed him to arrest Knightley for Rooke's murder.
