Attempt on Huang's life Edit
- Main article: Turnabout Target
Edgeworth received the article after Dick Gumshoe filled him in. He later used it to deduce that a red dot had somehow appeared on the president's forehead. This eventually allowed him to prove that the revolver found in the trash was used by the assassin, though it would later be revealed as a prop. He later handed it, along with the other evidence, to Horace Knightley temporarily, as President Huang meant for the Zheng Fa police to take over the investigation. However, after Edgeworth negotiated with Huang to return the investigative authority to him, Knightley returned it along with the remaining evidence.
