A photograph of Akbey Hicks was a piece of evidence in Miles Edgeworth's investigation into Hicks's murder.

Akbey Hicks's murder[]

The photo shows the Alif Red statue in the background. Hicks took this photo in Borginia before the statue was sent to Flight I-390 so that he would be able to tell if it had been swapped for a fake at any stopover.

Edgeworth found the photo in Hicks's pocket. It was eventually used to deduce that the killer had taken Hicks's phone after the murder. Afterwards, it was used to confirm that the Alif Red statue had, in fact, been swapped for a fake, angering Zinc Lablanc.
