A photograph of Apollo Justice's biological father, Jove Justice, was a piece of evidence in Apollo's investigation into the murder of Inga Karkhuul Khura'in. It is a photo of Jove singing and playing his guitar in front of a crowd.

The photo was taken by European tourists in 2005, shortly before Jove's death in the Kingdom of Khura'in during an arson attack that destroyed the royal residence and apparently killed the queen at that time, Amara Sigatar Khura'in. Twenty-three years later, the photo was given to Apollo by Dhurke Sahdmadhi, along with information of Jove and some sushi. Apollo felt indifferent of this both because he never really knew Jove as a person or his father, and that he was still mad at Dhurke for abandoning him in another country. However, they eventually reconciled.

Apollo showed this to Armie Buff via her drone to show her he sympathized with her about losing parents. This act successfully worked and earned Buff's cooperation.

The photo later became a crucial piece of evidence in allowing the truth behind the arson attack to come to light, as it allowed Princess Rayfa Padma Khura'in to perform a Divination Séance on Jove. This allowed everyone to discover that the person who caused the arson attack and Jove's murderer: Queen Ga'ran Sigatar Khura'in, as she was the Khura'in Minister of Justice at the time and wore the Cuffs of Justice, something Jove saw on a reflective plate. Ga'ran, who was the prosecutor, said that the cuffs were stolen at the time, and Justice had no other evidence besides the photo. However, Nahyuta Sahdmadhi knew she was deceiving him, so he retracted his confession for the murder of Inga Karkhuul Khura'in, allowing Justice to prove that Ga'ran was responsible for his death.

Phoenix Wright later gave a copy of the photo to Apollo's mother, Thalassa Gramarye, much to her joy over seeing something to remember her first husband by for the first time in years.
