A pick was a piece of evidence in Miles Edgeworth's investigation into the murders of Manny Coachen and Ka-Shi Nou in the Cohdopian Embassy.
Coachen's murder[]

Quercus Alba suspected that Coachen would likely attack him. As a counter to this, he hid a knife in a bouquet of passionflowers, disguising it using its flower motif. He later stabbed Coachen with the knife. He then put the blade and the body in a pushcart, which was a prop for the Steel Samurai stage show at the Theatrum Neutralis. He then smuggled the knife back out using the same method, and once he was in the Allebahst side of the embassy, he removed the handle, not knowing that the one of the petals had broken off and fallen into the pushcart. Afterwards, Shih-na transported the pushcart and its contents to the Babahlese secretariat's office through the rose garden pool. There, the blade was fitted into a Babahlese Knife Handle and left at the scene, while the loose petal was left at the open-air stage, where Kay Faraday found it and mistook it for a guitar pick.
