During a recess in the trial before Dahlia Hawthorne testified, Grossberg saw Mia's newspaper clipping about an incident where a lawyer was poisoned, and went to fetch information on that case. Grossberg returned to the courtroom and gave Fey the police report while Wright was making an outburst.
When Hawthorne testified that she met Wright while she was in the District Court for research, Fey presented the report to prove that she was actually being questioned by the lawyer from the newspaper clipping, Diego Armando, who had been asking her about another case. It also showed that she had been considered the prime suspect in his subsequent poisoning.
