A photograph apparently of Will Powers in the Steel Samurai costume was a piece of evidence in Phoenix Wright's investigation into the murder of Jack Hammer.

Hammer's murder[]

Wright printed out the photo from the security booth after the security lady left. He later used it to show her that it was impossible to tell who the person in the security photo was, and anyone with knowledge of Powers's injury would be able to pretend to be him. Afterwards, he used it to prove that someone else had gone into the studio, as the print on the back proved there were two photos. This allowed him to deduce that she had erased the data for the second photo. She eventually revealed that she had erased the second photo because all it showed was a boy around 2nd or 3rd grade.

Later on, during the second trial day, Wright managed to discover that the man in the photo from Cody Hackins's testimony was Hammer.

Much later, during the third trial, Wright used the photo to prove that Hammer wasn't injured, as the one who was injured was Will Powers, and not Hammer. This eventually revealed that Hammer had in fact meant to murder Dee Vasquez and frame Powers, but she had killed him by accident in self-defense.
