Price is a pawnbroker living in Labyrinthia. He briefly appeared during Maya Fey's witch trial to reveal the truth behind the missing arm from the gold Hershel Layton.

- "Price", his name in the English and Dutch versions of the game, is a reference to his occupation as a pawnbroker.
- "Spencer", his French name, is derived from the Old French "despensier", meaning "steward".
- His German name comes from the word "wucher", which is equivalent to a loan shark.
