Rheel Neh'mu, also known by his alias, Puhray Zeh'lot, was a priest living with Tahrust and Beh'leeb Inmee, as well as Maya Fey. He was a victim in one of Phoenix Wright's cases.
Government-sanctioned criminal
Neh'mu was born and raised in the Kingdom of Khura'in. He became a monk in the Khura'inist clergy at a very early age. He was registered with a tattoo on the back of his neck. Throughout most of his life, people saw him as nothing more than a devout monk who spent most of his time praying.
At some point in his life, Neh'mu became a government spy and assassin working under Justice Minister Inga Karkhuul Khura'in. He abandoned his former identity, by changing his name to Puh'ray Zeh'lot and covering the clergy tattoo he bore with one of a peach. Anybody who tried to look up information on him would be led to believe that he was an illegal immigrant.
Tahrust Inmee found him collapsed in the mountains one day and during a retreat. Believing he was a homeless young man, took him into his home as an acolyte. Unbeknownst to his foster family, he was tasked with killing revolutionaries or getting them arrested, including people that considered him a close friend. In his duties, he wore a Lady Kee'ra costume, causing rumors of her resurrection to protect the people of Khura'in from the Defiant Dragons. In reality, Neh'mu was a heartless killer who cared only about his orders.
Death

By 2028, Neh'mu began to suspect Tahrust of being a rebel. He somehow learned of a plot by the Dragons to help member Datz Are'bal to escape from prison during the annual Purification Rite. He wrote a letter under Lady Kee'ra's name warning the abbot not to go through with the plan. Three days before the rite was to take place, he stuck the letter next to the Inmees' bed as they slept using one of Kee'ra's arrows.
On the day of the Feast of Blessings, Neh'mu excused himself after eating under the pretense of going to pray early at the Plaza of Devotion. What he actually did was go to the Inner Sanctum in order to investigate a rebel hideout that was supposedly hidden there. He found the enterance to the hideout open and went inside. He seemed genuinely surprised to find Beh'leeb there rather than her husband. Realizing that she was a revolutionary, he revealed his true allegiances to her. He then tried to attack her, despite her being akin to family to him. However, Beh'leeb, in self-defense, knocked down a stone magatama, which pushed him into the bird statue, killing him. The last thing he heard before dying was a theme he believed to be from The Plumed Punisher.
After learning of this and realizing his wife would be put to death as it would be impossible to prove that it was self-defense, Tahrust took his body and froze it under a large pile of snow to throw off the time of death. He then set him up in a praying position and filled the wound in his back with the ritual's knife, knowing that no one would disturb him in this state. Tarhust committed an elaborate suicide during the rite in the hopes that their associate Maya Fey would be charged with both deaths.
During Fey's second trial in Khura'in, Beh'leeb publicly confessed to killing him. The details of the deaths were made known to all, including the crimes Neh'mu committed in the name of the crown.
Personality
While described as a somewhat cordial and deeply religious person while alive, his true nature is someone cruel and out to kill or frame innocent people, knowing he has the protection of the law.
He was a very capable fighter, and managed to overpower many highly trained rebels over the course of his time as an assassin. While disguised as Lady Kee'ra, he used several Warba'ad weapons closely associated with her. His strength and preferred led many to believe he was Lady Kee'ra reborn.
Name
- His Japanese alias comes from the verb ogamu (拝む), which means "to worship" and mainichi (毎日), which means "every day." This fits his status as a monk, who would generally pray every day. His English alias more-or-less means the same thing, being a play on the phrase "prays a lot".
- His Japanese and English real name comes from honmyō (本名), which means "real name," and the phrase "real name," respectively, fitting how they are his real name.
- His English alias may also be a reference to the word "zealot", meaning a fanatic who is implored to do immoral deeds by their belief in a cause, religion, or person. This is a reference to his role as an assassin of rebels, turning on the couple who trusted him the instant he realized they were insurrectionists against his government.
