Puzzle & Dragons (パズル&ドラゴンズ Pazuru Ando Doragonzu; lit. "Puzzle & Dragons") is a "match-three" puzzle video game with role-playing and strategy elements developed and released by GungHo Online Entertainment for the iOS, Android, and Kindle Fire platforms. The game uses a "free-to-play" business model, financed by the sale of in-game purchases.[1]
Prior to the release of Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Spirit of Justice on June 9, 2016, the game held a Japan-exclusive collaboration event with the Ace Attorney series. A Ranking Dungeon based around the game was available for play a limited time (June 6 to June 12, 2016). Phoenix Wright, Apollo Justice, Maya Fey, and Rayfa Padma Khura'in were also made available for purchase as monster cards during this time, by spending in-game "Monster Points".[2]
"Gyakuten Saiban 6" Dungeon[]
The dungeon begins in a District Court courtroom, where the player fights against Apollo Justice. After defeating him, the player progresses to the Bazaar in Khura'in, where they fight Rayfa Padma Khura'in, before progressing to the area just outside of Tehm'pul Temple to battle Maya Fey. Having defeated Fey, the player then enters the High Court of Khura'in, where they face a boss battle against Phoenix Wright.[3]

"Apollo Justice ~ A New Chapter of Trials! 2016" plays during the Spirit of Justice dungeon's first three battles, while "Pursuit ~ Cornering Together" plays during the boss fight with Phoenix Wright; this was the first appearance of both tracks in a video game, as the collaboration event was released three days prior to Spirit of Justice.[3]
