Alexandrina Victoria was the reigning Queen of The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and British Dominions beyond the Seas from June 20, 1837, and the Empress of India, from May 1, 1876 until her death on January 22, 1901.

She witnessed the trial for Tobias Gregson's murder via a two way hologram invented by Sherlock Holmes.

History

When a Japanese man named Genshin Asōgi was arrested for killing five nobles of the Great British Empire, the queen grew worried. Their country and Japan were in the middle of negotiating the establishment of an alliance treaty. But if word got out about Genshin killing the British nobles, there wouldn't any alliance happening anytime soon. In fact, there was chance that the two countries could declare war on each other. So Queen Victoria had the trial conducted in absolute secrecy, the public was unaware this was happening. Genshin was quickly found guilty and executed.

About ten years later, the Japanese-Anglo Alliance treaty was completed with the help of the new Japanese prime minister of Foreign Affairs, Seishirou Jigoku.

At the beginning of all of Ryūnosuke Naruhodō's trials, the judge declares the court session in the name of the queen.

Then came a case where Barok van Zieks was arrested for killing detective Tobias Gregson. Prosecutor van Zieks was known for his clients mysteriously dying after they escape their trials, rumors were that it was the ghost of his brother, Klimt, bringing down justice when his younger brother couldn't. The trial for Gregson's murder could potentially reveal the actual truth behind this "curse," the queen didn't know how the public would react to this so she had this trial conducted in absolute secrecy, it was the first one since Genshin's case.

On the second day of the trial, Sherlock Holmes gave Queen Victoria a little stuffed toy. It was a special invention that allowed her to watch the trial via holograms. The next day, Iris Watson visited her with some herbal tea, the queen loved it. The trial eventually revealed that chief justice Hart Vortex used Tobias Gregson and others to kill all of Barok's defendants to fight against the darkness of London. It also revealed that Vortex framed Genshin for all the crimes and he blackmailed Klimt, the real serial killer, to continue his killing spree. Klimt's third victim was the previous chief justice, Vortex had him killed so he could take the position. He believed that they needed to counter the darkness with darkness, but the royal family disagreed. The queen stripped Vortex's position as chief justice and had him tried in a future public trial. She gave this statement on a scroll to Iris who gave to Holmes who read to Vortex in the court.
